Hi,
Recently on 50 mg topamax for TLE..had a lot of side effects. I think I could have gotten through them but for the "taste peversion." Wasn't like "hmm this tastes different" more like "ugh this is going to make me sick" - it kept spreading to more and more foods. Couldn't eat ANYTHING except crackers for days. Shame because I couldn't get past this..first few days were good.is there another AED that is as good as topomax that does NOT have the change of taste as a side effect, or one that doesnt cause a lot of nausea (this one really didnt' more total appetite suppressing, but ...I just don't like getting nauseous!) thanks in advance if anyone can give own experiences..bipolar or TLEers.
