Risperdal Lexapro

Posted by agencypanic on March 28, 2003, at 17:37:48

I've been taking these for about 2 months now. I'm currently at 20mg lex/day and 4mg Risp/day.
The lexapro is for depression and the Risp. for paranoia (auditory hallucinations etc). In general I find that I'm somewhat jumpy and my depression hasn't really
let up any from what I can tell. My apathy seems to have grown-- if that's possible-- and while I love to read, I now find myself unable to concentrate long
enough on any one book for more than a few pages. This leaves me with a few pages read in a whole lot of books, but I don't know if this is
from the depression or from the drugs and I'm wondering if others have experienced something akin to lethargy and apathy but somehow more insidious than these while on
either of these medications? I don't see a doctor again for slightly more than 2 weeks-- is another anti-depressant the course to take? Or another anti-psychotic? Both? Neither?
Any answers would be appreciated.
