Wellbutrin, Bulimia and seizures

Wellbutrin is contraindicated in people with anorexia, bulima (as we all seem to know) kidney disorders and hepatoxicity. This is most likely due to the dehydration factors and the resulting extrodinarily dangerous electrolyte imbalance caused by that dehydration, which in turn will lead to seizures. This is of course, speculatory, because one of the first things in the PI of Wellbutrin, and nearly all AD for that matte, is that the exact mechanism of action is unknown, thus the exact reason for the increased risk of seizure in certain population is also unknown. But an educated guess can be made. So, again thus, if one were to supplement with say water and gatorade the risk of seizure could theoretically be reduced, not that that is any ecxuse for purging. Although the incidence has been reducing, leading me to wonder if it was a side effect of Effexor withdral. Who the heck knows when it comes to screwing around with the brain, ya know?

Thanks for the imput; I appreciate it.
