When I first started Litho Carb I did OK. The doctor decided the slow release was better and switched me. Well, after I lost my insurance I tried to go back to litho carb. I felt somewhat agitated, but the biggest problem was a "spacey" feeling I got late in the day. I also felt more mentally dulled. The spacey feeling is what is meds do to me the most. The best definition I have ever gotten has been a "sponge brain" feeling. I think the reaction to lithium, in the SE department are pretty universal, but the degree is different. I have even had that feeling after taking my lithobid, but it doesn't last for very long. Hope this helps. I would strongly suggest lithobid if lithium carbonate is not going well, but give it a fair try.
good luck
