Hi, ok, the biggest thing that was positive, was that after the ECT-I could see things more clearly, therapy worked for me better, and I could actually work on my issues that were making me depressed-it was weird, great, but weird. I wouldn't do it again because I lost the 2 years of my life before I did it:-( It's hard for my family and friends because they talk about something and I totally blank out-because ECT does affect one's short-term memory-it did mine anyway. Other than that it was ok-I'm a tough gal, but it is an extreme procedure, but not too bad if you can handle going under and getting poked, and doing it every other day.
Hope this helped? Hope to hear back from ya!
