In reply to Best Anti-Psychotic for Elderly?, posted by fachad on March 17, 2003, at 18:42:47
I hear your plea. Dementia is so common in the elderly-I did a paper on it. We are trying to get my grandmother on Zoloft, her doc is too trying, and she just won't take it. So, not only are the symptoms hard to treat sometimes, the concern of an elderly person to follow through in taking a prescribed med to help these symptoms is also a concern:-(
Try this:
Anti-psychotic medication for the elderly http://www.gerontologyinstitute.com/and this:

hope it helps. All the best, Kristen
