Hi. My sixteen year old daughter was put on Effoxor XR approximately ten days ago - March, 7th 2003. She takes 75mg in the morning, and 75mg in the evening. I have read many posts, regarding symptoms etc, but I was wondering if you could tell me if any of you are teenagers, so that I can relate to my daughter's symptoms. My daughter is extremely tired - sleeping approximately fifteen hours per day, has a headache every day, and says that she feels like her head is 'floating'. Are these common side effects (for teenagers) - do you know how long they will last? If anyone has any advice, opinions, regarding teenagers on Effexor XR, your comments would be greatly appreciated. I am particularly interested to hear from teenagers on this medication, or, parents of teenagers that are on this medication. Thank you.
