Wow. Hi Cam. Imagine my excitement seeing your name as responding to my post! I've lurked PSB a couple of years prior to starting to post and I've gained so much from your experience and knowledge of medications. I hope you are back?
Thanks for answering my question. I stopped Paxil CR last November, an experience in itself. I had moderate akathesia with Abilify and have now returned to Seroquel. If I understand what you say, different individuals have different weight and metabolism changes to the "atypicals". It will be interesting for me to see my weight reaction to just being on the Seroquel. I track calories and exercise output as to be able to measure progress and not just say, "Gee, I'm eating less". We shall see.
