Hiya :-)
IMHO, your med combo seems to be excellent-the Celexa and Effexor will help to take hold of the OCD'ish like racing thoughts you speak of. I posted an earlier post about some trippy dreams I was having about misery and death, (I know they weren't thoughts, just dreams) but I was thinkning, for me, it was because of all this war info going on in the US (where I live) Can you relate? or you think it is just something else, obviously? I'm here for you, keep us posted and keep hanging in with your med combo.
Kristen:-) I'll give you a quarter for my every thought and send it your way K?:-)
Hope this helped even a little?

==================================================================================================give the meds>death and misery. I have been taking meds for past 4 yrs for anxiety and depression and doing very well. But I had some problems with meds (weight gain)so I switched from zyprexa to seroquel and had a bad time of it. I was alredy taking max dose of celexa 40mg when I switched meds. But during the switch I got depressed again and real nervous and had weird thoughts and repetative words running through my head.So pdoc gave me effexor. And now I am taking 150mg effexor,200mg seroquel,40mg celexa.I am doing good but I have these short sudden burst of jumbled up racing thoughts and sometimes they are not pleasent. They always seem to evolve around death and misery. This is not my nature I am a bright and cheery peson and also Iam a very loving person who works hard and adores and loves my wife and three children. But it only happens in the mornings and some times at night before bed. These thoughts are so fast that sometimes I cant desifer them. And they only last about 30 seconds. It scares me that these unpleasent and unwanted thoughts are hapening but if anyone has thoughts or ideas please help.I dont know if its the meds or me.I have been on this cocktail of meds effexor, seroquel, celexa for 21/2 months."I wish I had a penny for every thought"lol thanks CHEFDOG35
