Hi Mike. When I tried a higher dose of Seroquel I too lost all my motivation. I felt just blah about everything. For me, going down to the 25-50 mg dose was what helped. I would feel a bit groggy in the morning but a cup of coffee would clear that up.

I would say Seroquel mostly decreased my anxiety. In turn this helped my depression. Seroquel treated my anxiety first and the added benefit of not being so depressed followed. Just guessing, but a good guess.
