Hi,

I've taken both. My pdoc would usually prescribe klonopin, but if I don't have it I would take diazapam. I think they are both moderate to long acting benzodiazapines. I think diazapam has a metabolite that klonopin doesn't. I like ativan because it is faster acting and I can feel the effects more.
