One can't make a blanket statement that Effexor is better than Lexapro or visa versa. If I were you, I would talk to your doctor about going back on Effexor. You mentioned that libido was a problem on Effexor. There are a couple of options that you could try. One is Yohimbine. You would take either 5 mg 3 times a day; or 10 mg about an hour before sex. It works for both libido and erection. But it doesn't work for everybody. Viagra is very effective for erectile problems but I don't know if it does anything for libido.
