I think what stjames is saying is that people know
how to respond to a physical medical problem but
when it comes to mental and emotional issues which
can be just as devasting they are in the dark.
I think if he wont take meds then at least therapy
and maybe with someone who is not a psychiatrist
would help. pdocs mostly tend to focus a lot on
drug therapy unless they have other training as well.
