Marialee: I am on Lexapro but I cut it in half. I have never taken any other meds other than Lexapro. I have been on it for 3 months. About a week ago, I had severe dizziness, with the room spinning. At one point, I had to hold onto the door frame to keep from falling. I had to keep my head very still or things would go whirling by. When I called my doctor, he said he didn't believe it was from Lexapro but that it was an inner ear virus which threw off my equilabrium. He might have been right because I
was almost normal the next day...just a tiny bit of nausea. And the vertigo has not returned. Sometimes things happen which would have happened without the meds, but we feel they are responsible. I hope your situation turns out to be like mine and that it has nothing to do with the med. Good luck.
