> I can't speak about social anxiety since my problem has been depression but I took Parnate with great success for 18 years and never felt sedated or drowsy from it. Keep in mind that everybody's different from everyone else and I've read some very contrasting reactions to these meds on this board. For me, Parnate actually reduced the need for sleep.Think about that. It didn't cause insomnia, but I felt quite alert and active and was able to function well on as little as 5 hours of sleep each night. And it didn't cause any of the drowsiness that the benzos cause. good luck

I've really thought about Parnate because of that. I'm already a normally tired person that sleeps a lot so Parnate has looked pretty good. The only thing is it doesn't effect the GABA receptor like Nardil right? I wonder what to try first.
