I found once the depression was allievated, the sedation was hardly noticable. Actually, I was happy to know that after my bedtime dose of imipramine, I would have a restful sleep. Before imipramine's antidepressant effects kicked it, the combination of the fatigue from depression and from imipramine was tough. Hang it there ... once the depression is gone, you will forget about the sedation.
