Long term BC Powder usage question

Posted by Joanie on January 10, 2003, at 9:54:40

This will probably sound crazy, but I take BC powders like they are going out of style. 4, sometimes 5 a day! This has been going on for probably 20 years. I have lots of headaches and I know that the BC powders are actually causing the headaches. It's habit. I also take 20 mg of Lexapro a day, klonopin almost daily (as needed) and Estratest (hormones). For a couple of weeks now I've noticed that my feet and hands tingle off and on. It's becoming more frequent. And my stomach burns alot, especially when I take a BC. How harmful can BC's be in the long run? Can they do real damage? Has anyone ever experienced any kind of medical problem from taking too much aspirin? I'd appreciate any feedback from anyone with similar experiences. Thanks.
