Hi nita,

I have never had the head noises you have described, but was wondering if it's possible they could be a side effect from the Paxil? Or did it start happening before you started taking Paxil? Just wondering because I have heard people mention some type of "mind zaps" or something when they've tried to withdraw from it. I was on Paxil before and I never had anything like that happen (even when I quit taking it), but it does seem to happen to a lot of people.

Another thing that struck me was that you are on Paxil with being cyclothymic. Did a psychiatrist prescribe it for you after diagnosing you as cyclothymic? Just wondering because taking SSRI's alone without a mood stabilizer can bring on mania. I know because it happened to me (with Paxil as a matter of fact). I had taken it for anxiety and then after becoming manic, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Glad you joined us - there a lot of knowledgeable people on here and it does help to find people who are going through the same kinds of things...
