I'm not saying you're not bipolar but you should be certain of the diagnosis. What you describe can also be ADD with anxiety. Your description fits me but my anxiety isn't as intense as yours though it, too, is triggered by events. I know definitely that I'm NOT bipolar. I was tested about 4 years ago & fit the ADHD criteria almost perfectly.

Treating my ADD with meds has helped me feel much better & has lessened the anxiety so that only more extreme events make me anxious - what I consider normal in just about everyone. Still, I have days of varying energy levels & one day can be great & the next, I wish to withdraw & recoup.
