Which is easier to withdraw from, Paxil /Paxil CR

Posted by joy on December 26, 2002, at 20:40:53

I weaned off Paxil very gradually by cutting a piece of the 20 mg tablet every 4 or 5 days, and eventually got to a few mgs evry other day and weaned off successfully. I hear conflicting stories about stopping Paxil CR. I would think it would be harder to stop cause you can't just reduce the tablet every few days. How do people get off the Paxil CR? Has anyone weaned off the Paxil CR after a few months or more? I'm asked this question all the time, and I thought Paxil CR was probably much harder to stop. Any thoughts or commens are appreciated. Thanks.
