I think from what I've read getting off remeron should not be as bad as tapering off the ssris or demon effexor.
Before I went way up on my dosage (probably not a good idea for me) i cut back and the only things that worsened was the anxiety and the ticcing i already had (which the drug does help with) & rebound migraines- but I went that time from 45 to 7.5 in a single month. I was still able to function..not debilitating. Maybe your dr. can give you something to help if you are concerned. My dr. said bascially the same thing as the other poster - they have a good recommendation.
