Celexa has a half life of about 36 hours but,
should not be effecting one much after about 24.

Celexa is an antidepressant that is sometimes used for anxiety disorders. In some cases they can cause anxiety as a start up effect.
Generally Celexa is not taken for anxiety on
an as-needed basis. It usually takes a few days for it to have an antianxiety effect.
Was he taking SAM-e at the same time as the celexa. If so, this may have caused the anxiety interaction.
