Sleeping 12 hours - normal or medication?

Posted by amber_spirit on November 27, 2002, at 11:25:31

I'm finally starting to stabilize after an 8 month crash into a mixed state. My mood is better, my anxiety and agitation is gone, and I'm not suicidal. But I still don't feel like I remember feeling at other times in my life.

If I don't set an alarm I'll sleep for 12 hours or more - is that normal or could it be the 100mg of seroquel? I don't feel sedated in the morning once I get up. It just seems incredibly difficult to get up and get motivated. If I take less than 100mg I don't get a good sleep (although I'm still not sure I'm getting a good sleep now).

Just wondering if anyone else sleeps this long or if I'm just lazy or too sedated.
