> As for the Klonopin/Provigil combo, it's still continuing to work well. However, I have noticed less of the sort of "buzz" I was originally feeling on it. It wasn't necessarily a euphoric type buzz, but more of a "who cares what anyone thinks I'm just gonna go for it" type buzz, which is certainly what I like! But this sort of confirms my theory that I shouldn't take it on a daily basis. I'm hoping to limit it to once or twice weekly if I can.

I started taking Klonopin+Provigil (and sometimes + Serzone) for my non-depressive social phobia over two years ago. Right now the Provigil is "on haitus" because excessive med-induced dry-mouth was starting to irritate my throat (I won't go into the yucky details). Things are still fine on Klonopin alone, but without the pleasant assertiveness, added sociability, and non-wired activation that 100 mg of Provigil added.

Regarding your current reaction to the Provigil, it always has the strongest "gentle brazen-ness" effect early in use. I found that I could always get that back (although to a lesser degree) by either stopping the med for a week or by upping it to 200 mg for a short period (anything more than a few days at 200 mg, and it would start getting me a bit wired). Your idea of once or twice a week on the Provigil sounds like it might be a good one, too. Provigil seems so easy to stop and start at will; I'm amazed it's a controlled substance (same U.S. control class as Klonopin).

Anyway, K+P is a great combo. I'm glad others are finally discovering the anti-social-phobia (at least in combo with Klonopin) effects of Provigil that I (and a few other Babblers Chad #x mentioned previously) started enjoying quite awhile ago.

Fyi, I don't have ADD. Apparently for those who do, a Klonopin + Adderall or K+dexedrine combo can be useful.

>Still waiting on the Gabatril and Neurontin to arrive to see if one of them will fill the gaps...

Neurontin was a total bust for me (even gave me sexual dysfunction at the highest doses), though I know it seems to help some folks a lot. And I didn't give it a very long trial. If you try Gabatril, let us know how that goes (although unfortunately I likely won't see it unless it's posted to this same thread). I've heard talk of cognitive dysfunction with that med, but everyone's different.

Good Luck,
Rick
