I have had those electrical zaps. It seems that they are from a temporary lack of seretonin and occur with various SSRI and other ADs that have effects on seretonin. They are technically called parasthenia. I have those mild electrical sensations too occasionally even though I have not taken any ADs for two months. I had no idea that would continue that long. (I've used Paxil, Celexa, Effexor, and Wellbutrin.)
