Well, I won't be trying Neurontin for migraine prevention any time soon. All these meds are hyped to work for migraines, depression, bi-polar, pain from diabetes, pain from everything, etc. It's a disappointment, but I won't try it. I have lost my faith in anything drug [medication] related. Most of medications coming out the last 10 years have side effects beyond belief; especially when the insert says 'weight loss' as a side effect, and then you suddenly gain 30 pounds [like Paxil]. I have seen people who claim they gained weight on Neurontin at high doses which they need and most people do not have any significant change in headache reduction.
The whole thing stinks. Thanks for the post.
