The side effects vary according to person, some go away with time, and some seem to go away with increased dosage. For me, night sweats lasted only a few weeks. Waking in the middle of the night had more to do with having to pee. Thirstyness decreased a little, but is still present after more than 6 months. I can deal with thirst, personally. I needed to drink more water! The thirst thing seems to wax and wane depending on stress levels and activity levels. Good luck and since you notice a beneficial effect, stick it out for a while.
