> I am going to give Lexapro a chance-- I thought I was over most of the side effects, but tonight in class I thought I was going to grind my teeth out of my head. I felt a resurge of that serotonin muscle tension thing, and I was a little people-phobic. It's my eighth day. Hoping I get to that smoother ride soon.

Wow, that is not good. What is your dosage? Have you talked to your doctor about these symptoms? If you have the symptoms of serotonin syndrome (can't keep limbs from shaking or moving, grinding of teeth, muscle tension, fever, hot flashes) you NEED to see your doctor immedietly. When I say give Lexapro a chance, I am saying this to someone who's never tried it, and isn't responding well on their medication. Please see your doctor. Also, are you drinking lots of coffee, and/or drinking moderately? If so, stop. In fact, don't drink any coffee or alcohol at all. I used to drink this ephendrine free speed stack that I bought at GNC. It had synephrine in it, disguised as an innocent "bitter orange extract" and after a few hours of feeling wired, I actually could not stop shaking my leg and arm. It was like I had to keep doing it, it almost felt good. I did that in my sleep too, and awoke very anxious and restless. I told my mom, (she's a nurse) and she watched over me the whole night while also making me drink plenty of water. So after that night, I pledged not too have any additives in my system while on the medication.
