I've had the same experience with all the SSRI's, especially paxil and celexa (and most likely lexapro in your case) It usually only lasts less than a week, and you're appetite returns to normal or even to an increased appetitive state. This is good if you have more melancholic features, however, a little vexing if you suffer from more atypical features. Either way, look for the effect to subside very quickly.
