Dear Cindy,

Your dosage of librium (5 mg) is pathetically low. Anyway if you are okay with it, you are still lucky. I was taking 20 mg daily (10 mg twice a day).
Librium is being given to hypetensive patients also. Because I think it has got something to do with hypertension. I took it for almost eight months and came off without any difficulties. Tapering was simple. Cutting 5 mg every week.So the tapering process didn't take more than three weeks.
