> The last time I experienced EPS was with Risperdal. It took a few weeks to completely fade after I stopped it. You have mentioned taking Geodon as well. Other posters have complained about EPS associated with Geodon. I get milder dystonia from SSRI's as well. I am taking a low-dose of Effexor now and it "gets" me in my upper back-neck muscles (it is very mild though-and I dont' mind it). Celexa and Prozac "gets" me in my throat (lump in throat-muscles very tight). Also, withdrawing from the Nardil may have precipitated part of it. You have got a reduction of DA circulating around and it could be affecting your motor circuits. Have you considered selegiline?

Mitch,

What you describe sounds very similar to what I am experiencing. I would describe it as mild but rather annoying. I can't sit for very long times, etc. I have tried stopping the Geodon but only briefly and went back on it. Currently, I am giving it another go without it for a bit longer to see if this goes away. I recently started moclobemide so maybe this will at least do something similar to the selegiline idea.

Thanks again,
Jon
