It's been over a year now and I still haven't hit on the right drug or drugs. The only thing that helps and it really does seem to help is 10mg of Zyprexa (but I'm not psychotic), the effects of this last for about 5 days. I'm starting to resign myself to the fact that Zyprexa might be the only drug that works for me but was wondering if its a good idea to take one every 5 days, could stopping and starting it, stop it from working like it did with the SSRIs?
I'm currently on Sertraline and Lamictal, neither of which are working, my only other options are Stimulants, Benzos, Thyroid augmentors, Estrogen augmentors, MAOIs or ECT and I'm not sure if my Psychiatrist would give me any of them anyway. It's like eeni, meenie, mini mo, which one do I take next?
Also, because Zyprexa helps, does this mean my dopanine levels are to high or is it acting on the Serotonin in a different way to the SSRIs?
I'm confused.
