I have always thought I had major depression but after a suicide attempt in May, I am told that I have bipolar with hypomania episodes. It is so confusing. Does anyone out there know meds well and what do you think of what I am now on?? I have been on prozac 80 mg for 10 years and doctor is keeping me on that but has added 800mg Neurontin tid and trileptal 600 mg bid and seroquel 100mg for sleep. It seems like so much medicine altho I must admit I feel a bit better. I am so confused with this bipolar diagnosis and appreciate any input
