I agree. Short term (for me a few months) SSRI's are great. It just comes to the dreaded "damned if you do, damned if you don't" factor in terms of apathy and lethargy after a while. If you do go the combo route, I'd recommend starting with a small dose of the SSRI. Hopefully that would lessen the bad aspects while getting some benefit from the Wellbutrin. (Just as an aside- I often wondered how combining Ritalin with an SSRI would work, assuming you could convince someone to prescribe it).

I have been on Nardil for about 7 or 8 weeks and it's working great so far. Because of it I'm willing to overlook the side effects, but talk about sexual dysfunction and insomnia...
