Hi GGG. There is a medicine called Urecholine or Bethanechol, which is used to counteract anticholinergic effects like urinary retention, etc. I have used it, and I think it is quite effective and it has very few adverse effects. According to the psychopharmacologist, Stephen Stahl, the urinary retention experienced on Reboxetine is a "pseudo-anti-cholinergic" effect. It is real, but it isn't caused directly by anti-cholinergic effects. Of course, the end result is just as disturbing regardless! If you want to continue on Reboxetine, perhaps your pdoc could prescribe some Urecholine/Bethanechol for you.
