Possible peripheral edema?

Posted by Bob on July 1, 2002, at 21:15:32

I've been taking Neuronting 100mg 3x/day for about 2.5 months now, and I'm starting to notice something strange. If I go out in the heat and sun and exert myself in any way, my skin gets blotchy on my arms, hands and legs. It's not really like a rash, just like suttle blotchiness that goes away when I cool back down inside. Also, my hands start feeling tight and "puffed up", like there's pressure in them. I've noticed this before, but it was more pronounced today when I went for a leisurely walk.

Does anyone know what this could be? Could it be peripheral edema? It doesn't seem likely to me at a dose of only 300mg/day, but who knows, what with my ultra-hypersensitivity to meds.
