I getting worried here. SInce i dropped my zoloft, titrated down to 25mg, then stopped remeron, im getting these brain zaps? Seems like somethings trying to fire up there, and jolting my body. I beleive it seratonin related, because i doubled up on xanax and didnt make a difference. I did switch to seroquel at 50mg but only my second night. Its very aggravating, and feel i should start up zoloft at a low dose again and see if it stopps. If not, it may be the remeron? What is the neurosciene behind brain zaps or electic shock type jolting?
Geno, please answer im nervous! I feel 1/ half on remeron maybe did someting to my brain wiring mixing it with g. Zoloft too, but only at 50-75 for 1 month. then titrated down. Has to be seratonin related, because stopped these meds to try to weanoff each and see how i feel. I feel worse, more anxious, parinoid, ache, less sleep, maybe 5 hrs, tempted to do alchol/g now to take the anxietys and depression away. also im dreaming like really alot, every nap is a vivid dream, mostly nightmares or not so good/.
i guess remeron/xanax/desipramine always did me good, besides the weight gain. I also have less appetite which is what i want. Sex drive is through the roof tooo. BUT that gets me in trouble, cause i want to prowl all nigt and every night for a women, spend money and party! While on all the meds, it sorta kept me calm and stayed home and posted online.ps, i do remember looking at my book when i stopped zoloft for 3 days, and experience these electic shocks. then they went away after i started again. But i did titrate zoloft from 75mg to 50mg over 2 weeks, then 1 week at 25mg. I has been about 6 days, so maybe i stopped to fast?
