mom took away zyprexa

Posted by adamie on June 1, 2002, at 19:07:55

yesterday i took zyprexa 5mg. 2 hours after being in bed it put me to sleep. this was maybe 2am. but it kept me sleepy whenever i woke up so i slept more and more until 4pm. and i kept wanting to sleep. grandma and mom got very angry. and when out of bed i just felt like doing nothing, i could hardly get the motivation to move around. i would just sit in my chair with tv on.. soooo tired and sleepy and i would fall asleep in my chair. anyway mom got very angry and took away my zyprexa. now it is 8pm and i took a shower shortly before. would the strong daytime sleepiness go away in time? because the zyprexa seems to have a calming effect and i certainly haven't had much mind torture today just the old very severe depression. but it's certainly not livable like this. sleepy and not wanting to do anything except sleep. i still am quite sleepy right now. would this effect go away? well i dunno if my mom would let me take it again anyway. i see new pdoc on june 5th.

before this zyprexa i would only get like 2 hours or so sleep a night. although tylenol pm helped a bit when i took it and maybe i slept 3-4 hours with it the one time i took it.

perhaps i should stay on that for sleep, for now. but my appetite is extremely low.

also i stayed on the paxil 20mg. i hope it helps. i hate these days
