Hi,
Yes, fear and anxiety often accompany depression. Wellbutrin has been a great drug for me. I've been on 300 mg for about 6 years, along with Depakote and various SSRIs added to the mix. The anxious, panicky feelings *do* go away. Your body adjusts. Once things settle down with the side effects, then you can see if perhaps the dose should be raised to further help your depression. I don't think the side effects got *worse* when I upped my dosage, but every time I have a dose increase on any AD, I get anxious, panicky and ill feeling for a little while. It always goes away.
