Hi Jerry,

The answer to your question is: Yes, Topamax may be
activating/agitating.

I have seen a number of posters with this side effect.

I took topamax for a number of months to treat a facial
neuralgia. I am bipolar II and the Topamax at the high
dose (400 mg/day) made me agitated and hypomanic.

Your results may very, etc, etc,

Maybe the agitation will go away.
