Has your doctor ever suggested a tricyclic? There are numerous to choose from, and I very much believe that fatigue can be caused by stimulating meds. Both desipramine and nortriptyline are rather energizing, and you have lot's of room to play with doseage levels. Also, you may *not* experience the stiffness in your joints with these meds. I really think your fatigue may be caused by the excessive stimulation of your meds,
and it is possible tricyclics may help smoothen things out for you. I'd avoid the sedating ones, like amitriptyline or doxepin. You may also benefit from a combo of a tricyclic and another of your meds. Tricyclics have a *strong* track record, and I think even much stronger than any of the newer medications. When they work, *they work*, period, and they seem much less to 'poop-out'. You may also want to try Protriptyline, if it is available where you are, as it is the most stimulating tricyclic.

I'd *really* say give nortriptyline a shot, stick with it, and you may find an excellent overall long-term benefit.

Good luck..

Jay
