Hi Preston,

What are your symptoms exactly? If you just need energy and motivation, something like Provigil might be worth a try. Unfortunately, zoloft (and other SSRIs) can sometimes cause *lack* of motivation and zest for life. However, that may not matter compared to the boost you get from treating your depression successfully. Best of luck to you!

> Hi, I am 21 years old and am thinking about taking Zoloft to decrease my depression and increase my motivation. I have always blamed my depression on my surroundings. But I am now in the best place I can be and I still feel like shit. If anyone has any advice or information, especially about how their motivation and energy has been affected, please reply. I don't even know if Zoloft is the best one for me, it just seems that way so far from what I have read. Thanks in advance for any help.
