I've only been on it for 9 days so I can't comment on the weight, but if you're thinking of trying it, here's the warning I wish someone had given me - the first time I took it, I fell so soundly asleep that a friend thought I was drunk because when he called me I was slurring my words and didn't remembr our conversation the next day. Start it on an evening when you don't have anything much to do the next day. Now, I feel better, though I'm sleeping 10 hours at night, I'm OK during the day and much calmer.
