Jay,

I've seen a few of your posts about weight.

I don't know of any med that will *make* you lose weight. I am currently taking Dexedrine, which I think used to be considered the "big guns" for weight loss, and haven't lost an ounce.

I think the best strategy is to taper and discontinue all meds that put on weight, then watch what you eat, get some exercise, and be *very* patient. I think it takes some time for the pro-fat changes that these meds make to our metabolisms to reverse. Even then, the weight may come off slowly.

Topamax (sp?) has been reported to cause weight loss, but so were Prozac and Paxil when they first came out, so I'd be skeptical...
