Results using Kira St. John Wt. over 1500 mg

Posted by JohnX2 on March 9, 2002, at 20:26:03

Hi,

I am interested in people's experiences
using the "Kira" brand of St. John's wort
at doses over 1500 mg a day.

I tried this herb twice, and got a response both
times at 1800 mg. Nada at 900 mg (the recommended dose).
Seen anecdotal tales of responders for major
depression at 1800 mg. Seen clinical studies
of failure at 900 mg.

Please reserve you < 1500 mg stories, and non-Kira
brands for another thread if possible. (Sorry
just to keep the focus of this thread).

Thanks.
John
