You can go very high with it though (my friend takes a large dose) and neither of us have had any real side effects. There are much worse drugs out there - I tried Tegretol and that's one of the worst I've ever been on - and I've been on many, many different drugs. But then I know people that take that too without the side effects I had, maybe for those that it works for the side effects are minimal as they are getting something their body needs.
