Bob,

I had previously had good success with Elavil, but it had not completly stopped the internal trembling of anxiety, and my doctor suggested I see a psychiatrist since he was an endocrinologist.

Long story short, the reasons in using Elavil in helping to get off of Klonopin was that it agreed with me, had helped anxiety/depression before, and the sedative component of Elavil was a plus, and it would not create the physical dependency like a benzodiazepine would.

I used the Dramamine to calm the nausea and equalibrium disturbance.
