Cecilia, it's not liquid oxygen but more a brand name, Liquid Oxygen, like Kleenex rather than facial tissue. Liquid Oxygen is supposed to be water with extra oxygen dissolved in it.
Like you, I think 'scam'. But I won't make a judgement call till I read more about it. I doubt that any extra oxygen dissolved in water & then drank is going to boost your metabolism. A metabolic rate is not 'reset' to go faster just with some extra oxygen, even if it does reach the cells through drinking water.
