I'm on Paxil. The first week or two, I thought I felt a lot of effect - all sorts of goofy things. Mostly antidepressant - happy - optimism - energy. Had some insomnia. I've been telling myself that it was placebo effect - when the real antidepressant effect started, it was sortof different.

I still feel depressed sometimes, but I think the baseline has gone up - sometimes I feel absolutely giddy, haven't felt like that in years - and this is like 1/4 or 1/2 the time.

I'm happy enough to make jokes with people standing in line with me, and start conversations. I used to be Mister Sourpuss - I just wana pay for this shit and get out of here, lemme alone.

I'm not going to stop it unless there's some replacement. I'm at 50mg which is supposedly the max dosage, but I think 30mg was just as good. My Dr is adding in some Wellbrutrin... see how that goes.
