Zyprexa can also induce EPS and other movement disorders, particularly in non psychotic people whose main problem is depression.
The reason Zyprexa and similar atypical anti-psychotics are added to SSRIs in non psychotic TRD is because all atypicals block the 5HT2 receptors. Doing that can make the SSRIs work better sometimes. However you also must remember all atypical anti-psychotics also block dopamine receptors at the same time.
Unless your really psychotic or manic, atypicals is a bad idea.
